Camerata is grateful to Queensland Ballet Academy for welcoming us back for this year’s Summer Soiree, Academy Showcase.

Queensland Ballet presents their extravagant fusion artform of art, dance, and live music called Soirée; a dazzling annual performance season in collaboration with Philip Bacon Galleries and internationally acclaimed artist William Robinson, in 2024.

Soirée presents a unique experience for audiences to witness a creative collaboration, featuring choreographic works inspired by art pieces and beautifully performed with Live Music by Camerata – Queensland’s Chamber Orchestra at the Thomas Dixon Centre. This will be a unique and very mesmerising opportunity for art lovers to visualise a combination of different art forms together.

The season is also packed with Academy Défilé, performed by seven levels of Queensland Ballet Academy’s students onstage in creative performance combined with new works choregraphed by Natalie Weir, Paul Boyd and Louise Deleur and our own Pre-Professional Program dancers.
