During Camerata’s 2023 Regional Tour (29 May to 9 June), 15 Camerata musicians travelled a total of 2,620 kilometres to Proserpine, Cannonvale, Collinsville, Bowen, Ingham, Cardwell, Gordonvale, Mossman, Cairns, and the Sunshine Coast, performing, educating, and sharing the joy of music.

Touring regional Queensland has a great and lasting impact on communities which we are reminded of year after year. While there were many special moments, some of those include:

• Reaching over 3,000+ people in regional or remote communities
• Visiting 10 communities in just 12 days
• Working with over 442 students
• Returning to Mossman for the second time to a sold-out crowd
• Introducing 95 kindergarten children to classical music
• Bringing joy to over 165 aged care residents
• …and a countless number of smiles.
