A Night of Celestial Harmony at QPAC
On Thursday, 20 November 2025, Camerata joined forces with One Equal Music at QPAC’s Concert Hall for Celestial Choral Baroque – a truly unforgettable evening of music.
We were delighted to bring together strings and choir in this unique collaboration – exploring the soaring beauty of choral and orchestral music. The evening opened with Norwegian composer Ola Gjeilo’s ethereal The Spheres – setting the tone for an emotional journey through music’s timeless power.
Audiences were then transported through the majestic Orchestral Suite by Bach, followed by the iconic Gloria by Vivaldi. The program also offered moments of reflection and hope with Peteris Vasks’ Dona Nobis Pacem – and a particularly striking highlight in Erik Esenvalds’ Stars – blending voices with shimmering glass harmonics.
It was an evening where every note felt like a plea for peace – a celebration of harmony – and a testament to the transcendent power of music.
