“In ‘Nocturne’ held its audience for over an hour with a winning blend of precision and passion. Their sound was often downright gorgeous – rich as a vintage port – and their style at once disciplined and supple.” Tim Passmore, Brisbane Live Reviews.

“A beautiful performance filled with energy… Outstanding Carol Carter, audience member

On Friday 6 October and Saturday 7 October, the Orava Quartet performed their concert Orava Quartet in Nocturne in Toowoomba and Brisbane, and delighted audiences with an exquisite evening of music, as they showcased their heart-on-sleeves virtuosity and sensitivity.

From swoon-worthy to experimental and rhythmic compositions, the audience was both enthralled and enchanted by the Orava Quartet’s captivating bows, as the quartet showcased the renown works from composers Borodin, Schulhoff and Sculthorpe.

An unforgettable musical experience from Camerata’s Quartet-In-Residence, proudly in their ninth year in residence with Camerata.

That’s it for the Orava Quartet in Nocturne, though you can book your tickets for the upcoming recitals of Camerata’s Artistic Associates Sally-Ann Djachenko and Marian Heckenberg.
