Phil Ware, Member Finance and Risk Committee is a lawyer of over 30 years standing who has been General Counsel of a Queensland Government owned electricity utility for over 20 years.

Phil holds an LLB (Hons), LLM, MBA and is currently a second term Councillor of the Queensland Law Society and Chair / Deputy Chair / Member of a variety of its committees, including Finance and Risk. An accredited Probity Auditor, Phil is also a Graduate Member of the AICD, and previous member of the QUT Alumni Board.
