We celebrated the wonderful news this month that one of our violinists, Helentherese Good, has been awarded the 2015 Mr and Mrs Gerald Frank New Churchill Fellowship to explore innovative ways for a chamber orchestra to enrich the broader community. Helentherese will travel to USA, UK, Norway, and Austria for her research.
If that’s not incredible news in itself, the Good family were awarded another Churchill fellowship, with Helentherese’s husband, Dr Phillip Good, awarded the 2015 Dr Dorothea Sandars and Irene Lee Churchill Fellowship to integrate research and clinical practice in Palliative Care. Dr Good will travel to Canada and UK for his research.
Camerata are proud of the achievements of our players and wish the Good family a wonderful year of fulfilling research and study.
