Start your career with Camerata – Queensland’s Chamber Orchestra!

Upbeat audition applications are now open. Camerata’s Upbeat program offers five emerging artists (typically in their last year or first year out of tertiary music studies) to play as a member of the orchestra in selected touring and concert programs across a one-year period.

How to apply:

• Check your eligibility – if in doubt, please email us via the address below
• Send an expression of interest (one page letter max)
• Send a one A4 page CV or list of relevant experiences to give an indicator of where your playing is at, including two music referees and their full contact details
• Send a link to a live performance or video that you have made. (While this does not have to be professionally created, note that sound quality and being able to see how you produce sound is taken into consideration)

Closing date for applications:

• Sunday, 7 November 2021, 11:59pm

Audition date:

• Auditions to be held Wednesday, 15 December (further details pending)
