Our Emerging Composer-in-Residence Alexandra Mison just flew to Central Queensland with Camerata’s Artistic Director and Leader Brendan Joyce as part of our touring commission to compose a piece that Camerata will premiere during our regional tour in May/June.

For a few days, Alex and Brendan explored the towns of Biloela and Theodore, where they met with locals, councils and community groups who shared the history of their town and stories about their community.
