Brendan Joyce, Artistic Director, Violinist and leader of Camerata, discussed all things Camerata with Indira Naidoo on ABC Radio on Saturday, 12 March.
In an hour of music, Brendan and Indira talked about Camerata’s past collaborations, including with Tenzin Choegyal and Australasian Dance Collective, as well as music Camerata has commissioned for our regional tour.
We get to hear Iain Grandage’s “Repercussions” from When Time Stops (performed by Camerata), Summer (from The American Seasons) by Mark O’Connor (which Camerata recently performed) Michael Patterson’s beautiful “Pieza de Paronella”, inspired by Paronella Park in Far North Queensland, commissioned by Camerata. You can find out more about Michael’s piece here, from our 5@5 series late last year.
