In June/July 2021, Camerata was Artist-in-Residence at the Museum of Brisbane in an innovative partnership where Camerata’s players inhabited the gallery, responding through music to the exhibition City in the Sun. The residency culminated in a performance on Friday, 20 August 2021 and free pop-up performances on Saturday, 28 August 2021 where museum visitors had the opportunity to hear the ensemble perform the outcomes of their inspiration among the art that inspired them.
