Today we announce that Camerata has been successful in securing, for the first time, Four-Year Investment from Creative Australia.
We are extremely grateful to receive this essential and important funding from 2025-2028 which will serve to secure the future and manage the ongoing and rising costs we face as a medium-sized arts organisation with a big vision. This funding will allow us to build on the strong foundations laid down over the past 36 years by investing in the creative talents of the Associate Artists and the team, collaborating with diverse guest artists and organisations, exploring opportunities to reach new audiences and developing organisational capacity.
We have a vision to create an orchestra like no other, to empower artists, inspire audiences and enrich communities through music.
We wish to thank those who supported us in our funding application including support letters from John Kotzas AM, Louise Bezzina, Neil Harvey, William Barton, Lior Attar, Kate Fell, Carmen Nieves and Dr Ricardo Peach.
Thank you also to Amanda Jolly whose extensive background in the arts and cultural sector supported us in developing the application.
