Camerata’s Artistic Associate and Violist, Elizabeth Lawrence, has been working hard over the summer to create a brand-new show, “Camerata Caravan”, that takes listeners in retirement villages and aged care centres on a beautiful, nostalgic journey around the world through some fantastic music. 

Elizabeth says, “We’ve been touring in regional Australia for over a decade now, which has always included performances in aged care facilities. So, I’ve pieced together a scripted show that collects some of the music and songs that have garnered the most joyful and emotional responses from our audiences. I’m really happy that we’ve included some fine Australian music, and as people are often known to get up and dance in these performances, I’ve included plenty to move to as well!”.

“Camerata Caravan” will premiere on our Regional Tour this coming May (stay tuned for more announcements about that!).
