We’re so excited to be hitting the road next week for Camerata Live!
With support from the Tim Fairfax Family Foundation, over five days, we will be visiting communities in Toowoomba, Dalby, Chinchilla and St George for a series of choral workshops with Tibetan artist, Tenzin Choegyal , strings workshops and performances.
Local students in Chinchilla and St George will also join us and Tenzin Choegyal onstage as part of the evening free concert programs (Tuesday 13 Oct 7pm | Chinchilla State High School and Thursday 15 Oct 6:30pm | Ampitheatre, Rowden Park).
In Chinchilla, audience members are encouraged to make a gold coin donation to support local charity Drought Angels, a local charity run by people with big hearts, supporting Aussie farmers and rural communities with meaningful and personalised assistance.
On tour, we’ll be undertaking one of our favourite activities – kindergarten performances performing a specially designed concert for 4-and-5-year olds in a fun and interactive session.
Keep an eye out on social media for updates from the road and in the meantime, tag your mates from Chinchilla and St George to join us for a night out of music!
This tour is made possible with the generous support of the Tim Fairfax Family Foundation and the Queensland Government through Arts Queensland.
