We were spooked, we laughed out loud, our hearts melted… Full of suspense and comedy, last night’s performance of Cinematheque as part of Brisbane Festival brought tears to our eyes and kept us all on the edge of our seats!
The audience seemed to hold their breath as arthouse-cinema met live orchestra in the Concert Hall at QPAC. We traversed the impossible to the surreal as Anthony Lucas’ short films, curated by music in collaboration with Camerata Artistic Director and leader, Brendan Joyce, explored everything from an annoying housefly to “What happens if rubbish came to life?”.
